Privacy Policy

1. YouTube API Services

ROYAL PICK uses YouTube API Services. By using YouTube-connected functionality, authorized users are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of personal information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

2. Information accessed

Depending on the authorized OAuth scopes, ROYAL PICK may access:

• basic YouTube channel information and video metadata available to the authorized account;
• authorization information needed to upload videos to the operator's YouTube channel;
• the status and identifiers of videos uploaded by the application.

The application does not request, collect, or store Google or YouTube account passwords.

3. How information is used

YouTube API data is used only to:

• authenticate the operator's authorized account;
• upload original ROYAL PICK videos;
• set creator-defined metadata such as title, description, tags, category, and visibility;
• read limited channel or video metadata needed to support the publishing workflow;
• record upload identifiers locally so the workflow can avoid duplicate uploads.

4. Storage and security

OAuth token credentials and operational upload records are stored in the operator's local environment. ROYAL PICK does not operate a public database of Google user information and does not intentionally transfer OAuth credentials to third parties.

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect locally stored authorization data from unauthorized access.

5. Sharing and sale of data

ROYAL PICK does not sell YouTube API data or Google user data. It does not share such data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Information may be disclosed only when required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect the security and integrity of the service.

6. Data retention and deletion

Authorization data is retained only while it is needed for the operator's publishing workflow. The operator can stop API access by deleting local OAuth token credentials and revoking ROYAL PICK's Google account access.

Google account permissions can be reviewed or revoked through Google Account permissions .

7. No third-party account credentials

ROYAL PICK does not ask users to provide Google or YouTube usernames or passwords directly. Authentication is performed through Google's OAuth authorization flow.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the application, applicable law, or the requirements of Google and YouTube API Services. The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
